My unique expertise lies in helping clients live their preferred lives despite the obstacles and challenges they face.

Guided by my training in Solution Focused Therapy, the energy of my work is focused on  the description of clients aspirations, not an understanding of the clients problem. The focus of our session is directed toward what you want to achieve as opposed to what you want to leave behind.

It is often thought that the process of change requires the discovery of underlying issues and the unpacking of past painful experiences. The Solution Focused approach however does not have to be long and painful, rather it is dynamic, unique and most importantly effective.

One of the most important aspects of any therapy is the client's sense of being genuinely listened to. Instead of listening in order to understand what has gone wrong, I listen for clues as to what going right would look like.

All sorts of challenges might be addressed within the Solution Focused approach. My clients come to therapy with an enormously diverse range of issues including stress, depression, anxiety, sleep-problems, drug and alcohol problems, relationship difficulties, family issues, parenting, sexual abuse, and work-related concerns.

Clients come to me because they are overwhelmed and worried about their future. They have a problem, and they fear that the problem will continue to restrain them from living the life they want to live. Instead of discovering the problem and help you fix it, my job is to ask the right questions to discover a preferred future and help you reach it.
